DATE: Victorian, c.1890

Exquisite Victorian three-stone diamond ring featuring a central old mine cut flanked by two antique pears - each half a carat in weight. The principal stones are accented at each corner with a tiny rose cut diamond, their icy white hue contrasting beautifully with the rich 18k yellow gold. It dates from the late 19th century, incorporating elements of the burgeoning Art Nouveau movement by way of swirling, abstract/organic shoulder details. Hand made in England circa 1890
