ORION Moonstone Ring

Inspired by astronomy, this ring is incredibly special. It features some magnificent pieces of moonstone that glow. Each stone is unique and natural, so they will vary slightly from the photos.

With a silvery light that seems to come from within, moonstone has many associations with the Moon. According to Hindu mythology, moonstone is made of solidified moonbeams. Many other cultures also associate this gem with moonlight, and it’s easy to see why. Its internal structure scatters the light that strikes it, creating a phenomenon known as adularescence. The visual effect is reminiscent of the full moon shining through a veil of thin, high clouds.

I design all of my pieces to look like ancient artifacts with a modern twist. Each ring is handmade using the lost wax casting process and cast in either recycled .925 sterling silver or bronze. These rings are made to order just for you, so please allow 3-4 weeks for your new treasure to be made. Some sizes me be in stock and ready to ship sooner.
